But my wax is in that little purple container that it comes and I dont have a double boiler >_<
I need to get it into hot water but it wont float upright
Why does it need to float upright? The hot water will heat it just fine, regardless of the way the packet is floating?
Or, you can use something metal to weight it.

I thought you have to leave it uncapped due to vapor formation. So if it's uncapped then the wax tips and water is now in. If it melts then it mixes straight into the water and into my pot
Cant you just melt it in a pot then?
