That's what we plan to do if it works out well.

In response to other members dismay, I don't think this is such a bad idea on paper. HOWEVER, I have concerns of the snowball-type effect this could have regarding future matters of this sort. Though, back on the other hand, I trust the admin team 100% and don't believe they'd ever take things too far.

I can support this decision! All parties win either way they go, Codex brings in a little revenue, and I don't think it attacks or opposes Codex's principles at all.

You should elaborate a bit more. Having no advertising expenditure, and very little income to pay hosting and license fees will put codex under eventually.

No, you don't even have to make 500 posts in a month.

There are two requirements for advanced:
500 Posts
Been here one month

The two are not related. In the past, to gain access to private, 56-62 posts per month was required (2 posts per day), but there is no time limit on advanced.
