You need both.
In programming terms:
If ((Posts >= 500) && (monthsActive >= 1))
{
Advanced
}
Don't you mean...
if(posts >= 500 && monthsActive >= 1) { giveAdvanced(); }
It's always good to give your terms the correct casing

How can we tell how many instances of Abrosia are running at any point of time? I remember when Neocodex went down for an hour 2 days ago and I was able to legitimately restock 4 unbuyables (where I would usually fail epically).

You can see the number of people currently autobuying on the Item Database page in the Statistics section on the left:
http://www.neocodex.us/forum/itemdb/
At the moment it's Users currently pricing: 52.

Thanks for the answer. That's what I was always assuming but it's always around that number (50-60) so I was never too sure.

What's really just amazing is the volume of data that we get from these users pricing . I need to check again but we had priced over 2 million items a few weeks ago. I was hoping to do something special at 1 million but it came too quickly and I missed it . We'll do something special for 5 million . I have to keep my eyes open though so I don't miss this one as well .Highest I've seen it personally is around 71-72, more people autobuying = more people pricing our database though so it's all good.

Just make out the cheque in the name of "Laser Wave" and I'll see that it gets to the right place.

Those two numbers should both be the same. At the moment, it seems your post count is 112 .Does the 500 posts mean for the count under the avatar or the Active posts? Because under my avatar is 97 but my profile says active posts 112. (Not that there is a major difference in post count between the two) But was just wondering which I should go by.

That is strange. I believe your posts under your avatar is pulling from a cache and the one in your profile is more accurate. The promotion to Advanced Member will be done automatically as soon as you hit 500 posts (may require at most 24 hours to let the script run and get to you ) so you don't need to worry about that .Hmm, that is strange, because mine is showing:
Posts (Under Avatar:
106
Active Posts:113(0.17 per day)
I have cleared my cache, cookies etc, but it is still producing the same numbers. Would it be because of posts I have previously made in categories such as Entertainment that do not have post counts?
