I have both and TBH I hate Ipods. They always crap out on me. Their batteries suck..
I have a 1st gen zune that still holds the same charge, never craps out.

Probably iPod. Just more familiar with it and I know what it can and can't do.

I think it does a good job of comparing the two. I personally would probably enjoy the iPod touch more than the Zune HD.

I've had the first gen Zune and currently got the [2nd gen I think] (120gb). Tbh, having tried and owned a few iPods, I personally always prefered Zunes. For large collections, scrolling seems to be much more efficient, surprisingly enough, for a Microsoft product they've always been quite stable (except for the computer software), slightly better sound quality.. a few more good things, but to me those are the big ones.

Anyways, you're probably talking about the Zune HD.. if it's the case, then I'd say go for the zune.
...I don't have a Zune hd and haven't tried one.. but from what the reviews say, if you're not in it for the apps that the touch provides you, the hd seems to be the winner.

The zune was okay, but I felt the ipod touch was just more of a punch than the zune.

Boyfriend has ipod, I have Zune. I definitely like mine better. Maybe it's because I have a bit more experience with a Zune, but I find ipod a bit more irritating to use.

i've had both, about the only thing I don't like about the zune is the music software is a rather large download but it is good software. The zune imo seems to be a hella lot sturdier too, with better sound quality. Lack of accessories is a problem though

I'd go with the zune. I have *cough*cheated on*cough* some ptc, or play and win shit and gotten that for free. Right now I am trying to get $50+ HD headphones from a site.

I would go for an ipod. I'm currently figuring mine out but now that it is jailbroken and I have some free games on It I have been having fun with it. I do not mind the way it puts the music in either, very easy to navigate. The only problem is that with the newest generation ipods if you jailbreak them you have to plug it into the computer every time you start it.

i've never had a zune, so my opinions aren't worth that much. anyhow, ipod has come a long ways since 2004, when i first got my gen 1 mini. theyre headed in the right direction imo, so i'd go with ipod. itunes is a bitch to use though...always slwoing down my computer.

Never had a zune or a touch but I do have a iphone and with all the opportunities that come with jailbreaking I would definately suggest the touch. The ability to have all your music, plus any gameboy color/advance, snes, nes, genesis, etc games, plus any app you can think of is great. I've heard great things about the zune too but from my experience, there's nothing that I can think of that I need that my iphone lacks with jailbreaking.

I think anything made by Apple is grossly overpriced.
Their technology is great, but they price-gouge so much I just can't see them as anything other than an unethical company.

I'm not particularly fond of Apple and I think Steve Jobs is a douche but the iPod is such a steal in terms of cost to drive size to life. My iPod is still serving me strong almost 4 years later and I'll probably buy another when this thing dies.

ZUNE. All my apple products have broken within 6 months. My microsoft products have all lasted over 2 years.
