They alter the amount of attack/defence which you do.

For attack it increases the damage you do: Berserk by 1.5, Fierce by 1.4, Jump and Attack by 1.3, Normal Attack by 1.2, Cautious Attack is neutral and Defend by 0.8.

They also increase the amount of damage you take (By the same proportion), so you may wish to think a little before using them. If you're ever looking for BD info, I'd recommend Garmfry as the place to start.

Does anyone have a link to suggested sequences to use? Or a guide perhaps? dreaming about starting the BD.

I noticed berserk and stuff do more icons of defense. I seriously don't get that.
