The wi-fi club HAS sort of turned it into an MMO?

There's still a heavy focus on solo play and level grinding, but if you're up for a challenge, then go ahead and challenge the teams that consist of pure-lvl-100-ev-trained-iv-maxed-Max-PPed monsters. It makes for an interesting event.

i used to but i sold my DS 4 months ago along with all my games. i played EVERY handheld pokemon game and i loved every single one of them

I play, but I'm way too lazy to train pokemon in the actual games with EVs/IVs and all that crap, so I just play on Shoddy Battle.

Same here I tried reading a guide on evs and ivs but it was a little confusing so I jst try to keep all my main party guys (haha pun ) same level

yup, story wise its similar enough to the original gold/silver, which I have completely memorized (I played that game till it broke)

1. Species
2. Shiny (Yes/No)
3. Demeanor
4. IVs Maxed? (This is a big duh)
5. How do you want your EVs distributed?
6. Any special TMs you want learned?

I have a legit shiny Rayquaza from the GTS. Not to mention every legendary. I use to be addicted to Diamond. I might pick up soulsilver when it comes out for nostalgia. Silver was one of my favorite games, EVER.

I misspelled comes and firefox's autocorrect put 'cums' in front of 'comes' in the list of options... O__o

The last version I played was emerald, and that was approximately three years ago. Somehow, seeing this thread makes me feel like going back to play my old red version, after my studies that is. Never once cheated on that, unless you count in the mew trick/glitch as a cheat.

I'm honestly looking forward to the release of Soulsilver. Pokemon Silver was my very first game to play, ever! So it has got a special place in my heart.

(Got all the pokemon games btw, but no stable wifi connection possible here)

Now they got a version called "Soulsilver"? Fanciful names, but they seem to be running out of cool-sounding words.

Soulsilver and heartgold man.. just like leafgreen and firered, not too fanciful names but we get the idea!  

I did not preorder both *don't have the money*, but will ask my family to pick them up for me once they're out . Really looking forwared to it

Well, it's only a remake, they don't have to work hard on the names, just improving the game itself.

i have platinum but i rarely play it; waiting for heart gold and soul silver to come out, those will have the pokemon im familiar with so thats why im going to play those
