I would like to see the ability to add items to a wishlist. This way if you notice an item in the DB that you need for your gallery or album you can mark it and purchase later. I don't know much about programming so I don't know how difficult this would be to incorporate into the Item DB.

Thoughts from codex programmers and fellow codexians?

Why? You can just get a list and stalk a shop until you buy the item you want.

Also, people wouldn't need to have an extra feature to remember what items to buy later, usually they know what they want once they get the cash for it.

OK but what if you notice an item in the db that is new, you don't want to buy while inflated but don't want to forget to pick it up later

If you don't want to forget, then there would have to be an extra function to remind you to get it once it meets a specific price, which seems less like a wishlist then something that keeps track of items.

This is totally doable :). Add it to the bug tracker as a new feature request and I'll get to it whenever I have some time :).

Quite frankly I might actually use something like that.
Not to be seen, but sadly still heard.

Praise Hydrogen, lord and savior.

Now, let us take out our Periodic Tables and read from the book of Argon.

Lol, just messing around after what Punkrock said, since Hydrogen is also a gas, I took it as we were worshipping it, using the Periodic table as a bible. Posted Image

I agree that being able to track an item, and then have the database alert you when it reaches a certain price would be the way to go with something like this. I would certainly make use of a feature like that.

Oh... I was doing it wrong. I started drinking a lot of water and praising it. I related hydrogen to water first >_<

That would be more of a case for the neoalerts system when it's released, would be interesting if we can tie them both together somehow.

I think noit has added the ability to plug into his system.
