We have had an influx of scumbag hash account sellers on the site. Its against the rules yet they still post.

Why do people assume because we have cheat programs we are a bunch of scummy scammers?

Newbie please don't be scammed. If you want to trade with someone please check out that user's post and if you see them say they are selling hash lists don't buy from them because its a stolen account and that account will be frozen so you are only giving money to thieves.

The policy has always been that Neocodex has no liability regarding sales, trades, or giveaways on the site.

As far as selling hashes, hash lists and issues as such go, we disallow this and any thread or post seen with this intent will be closed upon report / moderator attention.

However, you find a way to find if an account is cracked or not and by all means - I'll implement it - but until then, there's no way of distinguishing between a cracked and legit account.

In this topic someone is accused of stealing the contents of an account. That person then tries to explain it but for some reason Xenon gets involved. It's almost as though Xenon accidentally replied on the wrong account (which would fit with the accusation of Xenon using multiple accounts on Codex for trades).

Xenon has probably already broken enough trading rules to have his trading privileges revoked anyway.

Xenon has been banned for using multiple accounts on Neocodex. His other accounts and his IP address no longer allow access to Neocodex.

The easiest way to prevent scams is to use the middle man method.

If newbs choose not to use a middleman, then that is their choice.

I was only asking in case we did some trading with one of Xenon's other accounts, cause then they might be hashed and thus maybe stop using them or something

Well, the main rule to go by when trading is, if it's to good to be true it probably is. If an account is really good, chances are it's hashed, Poke them for a little backstory or something, or even ask if they can get a middleman to go on the account and check it isn't hashed or something.

As clarification, Xenon and his alter-aliases and UniqueSwagga have been banned. Permanently.

I'll reiterate once more: If you suspect someone of selling a cracked account - Report the post to a moderator either via the report feature or via the PM system.

This wasn't directed at you at all. This was directed at someone else. I was just correcting them on proper usage of the Rep system. (Should be noted as helpful posts). Since your post wasn't helpful, instead it was asking for help, it didn't deserve to be +repped.
