Flaming Meerca 1-Player Guide

Okay, so I am going to start out by saying that this is the guide for defeating the Flaming Meerca since IDB is getting outdated and I want to help make one to share with you guys.
He starts with 50 Hitpoints, gains 2.5 HP per win, and has a difficulty of 40.

Lets look at his weapons and this can help us figure out what we can do to defeat him.

His Weapons:

Fire Flying Disc - ATK 3 Fire + ATK 1-3 Physical icons.

Fire Spear - ATK 2 Fire + ATK 1-2 Light icons.

Fire Nunchuks- ATK 2 fire, DEF 3 Water icons.

Stone Fire Body Basher - ATK 2 Fire icons.

Striped Balloons- ATK 2 Air, DEF 1-2 Physical icons.

Forest Hat- ATK 2 Earth, DEF 1 Earth + DEF 2 Dark icons.

Ice Scimitar- ATK 2 Water, DEF 1 Water + DEF 1 Fire icons.

Earthen Scorchstone- DEF 5 Air + DEF 5 Dark icons.



Okay, for the time being we are just going to exclude his stances and what happens to icons or if he uses scorch and so forth.
Lets keep it simple for the mean while. The max icons he can do with any icons would be 5 Fire, 3 Physical, 2 Light, 2 Air, 2 Water, & 2 Earth. Lets take a look at some shields and dual-duty's that can overtake him.

Im going to start out cheap and work my way up in price.
I will post how the weapon would be effective against him, not all its stats.

Flaming Oven Gloves
DEF 5 Fire + Def 2 Light
Price: 1,000 NP

Scarab Ring
ATK 2 Dark + 2 Water + 2 Physical
DEF 3 Water + 3 Physical
Price: 1,850 NP

Frozen Collar
DEF 2 Air + 2 Earth + 2 Water + 2 Fire
Price: 500 NP

Leaf Shield
Can DEF 2 Earth, 2 Water, & 2 Physical.
Does more regularly.
Price: 12,000 NP

Amulet of Inevitable Betrayal
ATK 3 Water + 3 Dark + 2 Air
Can DEF 2 Light.... up to 3 Light
Price: 70,000 NP

Flotsam Ice Shell

ATK 3 Water + 3 Air
DEF 3 Earth + 1 to 3 Fire
Price: 10,000 NP


And just find what works for you. I like to also have a large attacker thrown in so I can get some damage in on him before he can hurt me enough.



Helpful Faerie Abilities.

Quench, the fourth water faerie ability you can get at level 9.
It blocks 100% fire icons towards you.



Burrow, the fourth earth faerie ability you can get at level 10.
It blocks almost 100% of Earth, Air, Water, Fire, & Physical.


Sink, the eighth dark faerie ability you can get at level 30.
It blocks almost 100% of Light, Dark, Water, Fire, and Physical.


I think that I will start to make some threads for stronger opponents and this is just the first-step. This was written entirely in my words and if you want to use it anywhere, just give credit to bIgbLACkaLIEn. Thanks.

I pawned it 40 times with my weak pet :/

only had 100+ str, 10+ def, 80+ agi and 180+hp that time

this is very well written and detailed, but hopefully most people can beat it without the use of specific weapons :o Isn't the difficulty like 40?
