To make more money. Duh.
Show me an Apple computer spec list, and I'll show you a cheaper Windows based computer.
Show me a Windows based computer and I'll show you a cheaper Linux based PC.

No. You cant. Gtfo.
Windows might as well be free, given that it only costs the oem 10 dollars for the license.

That's what I was actually talking about. Build your own computer, install linux, cheaper then building your own and installing Windows.
Obvious statement is fairly obvious, but argue seems to be building this entire argument on price.

No. I didnt build my argument entire on price. Infact, I am not the person that mentioned the price being the factor. I named 5 other things that sucked massive balls about it.
Given that I can actually buy Windows based laptops for cheaper then building one, its kinda funny.

Apple does the same thing Nintendo does: release a product minus a few key features, have fanboys buy it in droves, release same product with 1 of the omitted key features, have fanboys buy it in droves, repeat until no more features can be added, release same product but BIGGER.
Both companies make a ton of money off of the poor spending habits/intelligence of their fans.

I see the ipad as a ridiculous concept.
