The Lady in the Water was actually a very good film that was woefully mismarketed.
People went in expecting a horror film, which was how it was represented in trailers and advertisements, but was not remotely the premise of the film.

I guess this is why I thought it sucked so bad. It seemed like a good horror film, but you're smack dabbed with... you know, that. It just seemed like a big mindfuck when they introduce that dog thing made of grass. I couldn't take it seriously anymore. Then again I was in the 8th grade when I've watched it so maybe if I watched it now it'd be different... maybe.

Nowadays, filipino/japanese basically asian horror movies give me the chills.

Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy (actually left the cinema)
Drag me to hell (old woman??? wtf???)
The million American pies they made after the first few decent ones....I mean...give it up.

The acting of the lead females are atrocious in human centipede. But they shut up for the rest of the movie pretty soon. =)
You don't really see any graphic scenes, but the unveiling of the centipede is pretty gross.
The idea behind it is very gross.

There were a few exceptions though. I remembered watching Exorcism of Emily Rose during 2005 and was very disturbed by it throughout the movie.

Eeeh, Avatar was so overhyped. It does have superb visuals, and the concept of Pandora is quite creative, but the storyline was just so bad.

and yes, that one played by the white guy. Such a disgrace to Dragonball. Whoever directed it should be banned from making films.

Agreed on both points. I don't even want to watch that Dragonball movie.

I did not find Funny people... funny. Lol. That's another one on my list I h8. I was expecting a movie full of lulz but it's just stand up comedy.

Funny people wasnt too bad IMO.
Its just a comedy trying to be a serious film at the same time.
It just comes off like that.
