Fatal error: Call to undefined method IPSText::removeMacrosFromInput() in /home/neocodex/public_html/forum/admin/applications_addon/other/tracker/sources/post.php on line 250
as well as a alert popup that says "Action failed" when accessing the posting page for writing a new issue
the shortcut for neoalerts is not linking properly to the neoalerts url. it will say neoalert not set up and then link to you "http://curenturl.com...app=neoalerts". basically whereever you are and try to access it via your userbar dropdownlist, it will just append "/index.php?app=neoalerts" to the current address instead of a hardcoded string of "http://www.neocodex....?app=neoalerts"
also, neologs is finally up and working? since when? o.O

It's impossible to downgrade with IPB. I'm so fucking pissed off at all these errors right now it's unreal. I think I'm going to go for lunch, I haven't eaten breakfast and it's already 1 pm.....This version is so buggy at the moment...perhaps we should downgrade until it's fixed?

It seems like the current version we're on is a downgrade.

Noit and I figured some stuff out regarding all this crazy shit. Basically, when we built the hooks we did some stuff manually that we should have did with IPB's tool. The problem is, whenever we'd try and run the tool, the server would throw a memory error, so I sent a request to the host asking for them to increase our memory_limit to 128MB (it's 64M right now).
Then we can rebuild everything and hopefully not see a bajillion errors.

Now we're installing a development board on our second (and arguably better) server to do the tasks. IMO, the shared servers at HostGator have been going downhill in the last year or so. Our second server at LostDesert is handling the items database tracker immensely better than HostGator ever did.

Remind me to never listen to whoever said "try disabling the recent status updates on the side" again. Just by disabling it it's fucked up many other areas on the site, and now I can't re-enable it properly.
Guilty.

Derp. How hard is it to back up the file system and database prior to upgrading
Hmm, so the host got back to us and basically said that since we're on a shared server, our memory_limit is 64M and no higher. They couldn't adjust a simple one line setting in a single file on their server for us, basically.

Have you tried upgrading it manually via a custom php.ini file? Or even through PHP?
ini_set('memory_limit', '128M');
I have a couple of accounts over at Hostgator, and I'm almost certain I've temporary altered the memory limit to allow a few memory-intensive scripts to run smoothly.
By the way, has anybody even tested the mobile site? It doesn't work. Just trying connecting to it in FF with an iPhone user agent and it redirects me to a page with a 404 error:
