Battle Royale: A game of skill, luck, and killing everyone else

It's not a prerequisite to play the game, but it's probably a good idea to look this movie up and watch it. It's in Japanese with subtitles, but it is SOOOOOOO worth it.

Here's the rules of the actual game:

1. Everyone is placed on an island
2. Everyone is given a weapon (admittedly, many of them are shitty)
3. There are "dead zones" generated randomly on the map. If you are unfortunate enough to be on one when it is activated, you will die.
4. Only one person survives

Here's my personal rules:

1. When I give a challenge and a deadline (I will give everyone at least 24 hours from when I post the challenge), you must complete by the deadline or you will die in the next update.
2. I will activate dead zones as I see fit to either slow down or speed up the game
3. If you interact with someone else on the map, there will be a duel to the death, with a challenge I have yet to determine
4. If you kill someone, you will steal their weapon and if you stumble upon someone's carcass you will steal their weapon as well.
5. If nobody interacts to instigate a duel, there will be a group challenge wherein one or more people will die.

Here's how deaths will be presented:

In short-story format! I'm going to personally write out updates on the action. I wanted something to write about (not code) and this should give me an opportunity to do so as well as making something kind of interesting on the site. If you kill somebody, your weapon will obviously be used, so there goes your secret. Until then, though, I suggest keeping it a secret so the more competitive players don't single you out as a lame duck :3

Here's how to get in:

PM me and tell me you are interested, and if you'll be offline for any period of time in the next couple weeks. Include in your PM the funniest NEOPETS RELATED screenshot you have. If you have none, that's fine, but the funniest 3 will get nicer weapons guaranteed. I will not be disclosing the winners, just the screenshots, so your advantage is safe with me

I want at least 16 players to make this interesting. Obviously I won't be playing, but anyone else is free to join in. I'll keep this front page updated with the players as well as deaths.

Only one survivor. You can steal their weapons, but not the units themselves.

I've got the map from the movie. The only really important part is the coordinates, but I'm looking for some authenticity here

Let me give you an example of how this might work:

Everyone sends me where they are moving on the map.

Scot and Noit both land on B7, so I instigate a duel to the death. They are both sent off to play the boobs, butt, or shoulder game.

Noit gets 33% (he knows a butt when he sees one) and Scot gets 75%. I then write into the story that Scot kills Noit with her rubber duck and steals his machine gun.

It sounds like it will be a good game. I want to play. But I seriously have NO idea how it's going to work or what I'm supposed to do and I re-read what the first post said. Help?

Just join up. I'll be PMing exactly what you need to do for each portion. It will usually either be a simple request (like choosing where you want to move on the map), or in the event of a duel or group event I will send the simple challenge that should really take no longer than 5-20 minutes depending on the challenge. I'm still trying to figure out which challenges I'll be issuing now, because it should be somewhere around 15 considering how many of you I have to kill off XD

I've noticed a large resurgence of people on the boards, so if there is a demand I will gladly bring this back to life

I was kind of sad I didn't get to execute it on my first attempt.

(For those of you who are interested, this is a concept that I saw on SlopDog, participated in and enjoyed, and decided would be a fun addition)

Ya, normally I don't gory Japanese movies but both of them were really awesome
