I guess it's one of those "wait and see" things.

I'm really curious as to how this works without the glasses. I had the chance to see one of these up close but I didn't want to stand in line forever. I don't think Nintendo has shown how it works but sites seem to say it uses a parallax barrier, which kinda sucks since you're forced to a specific viewing angle.

I just saw the speculated specs from Fudzilla, it looks like they're actually upgrading the specs quite a bit instead of just making the damn thing bigger like with the XL. For starters supposedly it's going to be using two ARM11 cpus :)

I hope this isn;t a disappointment.
I hate the 3D craze right now but if a lot of games I want will require to need it then I will buy it only for that and not because it's ~super kewl 3d!!11~ you know? I do enjoy the 3D tvs they have now, it is wicked. :o

I`d rather wait till the prices go down.
You`ll realize that getting it first and paying way more is not such a good investment.
But seriously it does sound pretty bad ass. I miss playing pokemon on my gameboy advance LOLOL.
Having it in 3d is just tripppy, in a good way ; )

can't wait to get one. I think they're priced at around $250-$300 so I'll bitch and whine about the price but still buy one on launch.

Wow, what a trailer. I saw a 3DS trailer earlier on another forum, featuring a Zelda game and it didn't look too amazing to me. More like an upgraded, 3D version of the DS/older consoles. This though, is amazing. O_o
Is the 3DS really capable of so much? Seems a huge boost from the traditional DS to me.

This does look pretty enticing. It just seems unreal to what most of us all had back in like elementary and even middle school...I still remember that bigg game boy

I still wonder how they downsized it the gameboy pocket. (Not really but it blew my mind back then)

I still have my original ds from launch day and it is in perfect working order (no scratched/unresponsive touchscreen, no broken buttons, no broken hinges). I have never touched the ds lite or dsi (I was tempted to get the dsi xl) because they only had cosmetic upgrades or gimmicks (even the ipod touch has everything new in the dsi but more and better). The 3ds is the first upgrade I find worthy of retiring my ds.

Movie looks pretty amazing, but this will probably be the first Nintendoconsole I skip. My right eye is blind. I'm having no problem with that except in 3D. Had a demonstration of a 3Dtv this weekend. 3 people next to me ooh-ing (and trying to catch the flying spores in Avatar) and I'm just standing there "it's plain flat"... Had hopes for this one because it doesn't work with glasses, but the Nintendo PRwoman of my country (Netherlands) confirmed that you still need to see with both eyes for it. Too bad, but looks like Nintendo did a good job on this one:)
