anyways, lady gaga.. eh i have mixed feelings on this one.

she is really , really strange and i always thought from the start she is really a man. and then all this stuff came out about it and she got weirder and weirder as it went along and i felt proud of myself for guessing this but who really knows for sure right? the first song i heard was poker face. it was really catchy.

a lot of her music is really catchy, like most people already said here.

a lot of girls i know are absolutely obsessed with her, her clothes, and music. etc

i don't get the whole "gaga" obsession though. i always thought the fans are either girls or gay. so yeaaaaaah.

I'd consider her to be a legit artist, unlike some of the new teen-pop artists that I'd say ruin the musical tastes of kids these days.

Not a big fan of her music (nor for that matter not a pop-fan either) however, but if I hear her music on the radio I wouldn't go on a rage and suddenly change the station either.

As far as her personality and not her music, I don't mind her that much. We all could use a dose of weird every now and again. I prefer her to a pinned-up-blond-perfectionist barbie any day.

First off. POP IS DEAD. Lady Gaga only stands as a prime example of pops demise. She aint no queen of pop. She takes a shit on pop's chest. In fact, she single handedly might have killed pop. Look at the influence shes spread on everyone. EVERYONE.

I thought lady gaga was lame, but then I viewed her from a postmodern artistic perspective and it came to me that shes a pure genius. A true performance artist perphaps. I still dont think her music is anything laudable, but its almost iirelevant at this point. Google it, there's some pretty interesting essays on the subject. Bitch might look dumb, but shes an artistic mastermind.
