NONE of my neocodex programs work except for ABrosia. I have the python files and w/e, but they just do NOT work.
I have downloaded atlease 6-7 of them, but they all have the same problem.
I open one, it works as normal, I log into neocodex and w/e.
As soon as the program actually opens, it stays open for like 2 seconds, and then it says "-programhere- has stopped working. looking for a solution" or something like that.
I'm sorry if this problem has already been posted somewhere else, I must've missed it.
Can somebody please help me?

Hey, I'm just posting to say I've had the same problem. No details come up, it just freezes, tries to resolve the problem, and then forces you to close the program.

If it's any help, it was working fine for me until some weeks ago, when I had to install an update to the program. And once I had installed it, then this issue came into play.

I only really use the NP Gen so I can't say if any others have been acting up this way for me.  O_o

It's kind of like typing in all caps.

Little late, but I had the same issue. I solved it by going to C:\Program Files\NeoCodex\PythonApp and right-clicking the .exe file 'run as administrator'

We're split into two groups, Noit and I tend to do the web applications (Item DB, Simulators, AvatarLog, NeoAlerts etc), while Hydro, SL, iargue tend to make the client side applications. We do cross over sometimes though, for example, Hydro has done a lot on the Item DB and I did the OCR for Abrosia so we can all do both sides really.

All the .exe files are text documents. o.o

Do you have the NET frameworks and redistributable packages?

We use python actually so she shouldn't need anything but the required files which you can get in the downloads section...

Did you ever get it to work?

I'm actually a guy. :whistling: And no, they're still not working. Only the ones that automatically ask for administrator permission do. (MSAB & the kad feeder) But even when I right click and run as administrator, they don't work. =/ I'm guessing I have to make them automatically ask for permission..? o.o idk just a guess.

Ok I just tried again running as administrator, and they worked. <_< I'm such an idiot lol.

Scratch that. It only worked once. They aren't working anymore.

I can make them work on my PC.
Maybe it's your computer settings.
Try intalling and running them on another computer.

Eeek, are you running them on administrator every time?
Maybe you have to manually select it for it to work.
If is the case, I'm almost 100% sure that you can find a way to always run these programs as admin.

But I'm pretty computer retarded so pardon me if nothing I say works :/

I was thinking that but in a more vulgar and offensive way.
