Armoured Negg..

Increases defense by 1 and gives you a Scamander Shield, Omelet Shield or Shoulder Armour. Costs 16 negg points or 28-30k on the Shop Wizard.

Edit: With the flood of cheap negg tokens, the price has been decreasing. 24k seems to be the low right now.

Only until it's "Bloated". However, if your pet is "Dying", you can feed your pet once, wait at least one hour and it'll be back to starving again. Effectively, you can feed 23 a day, although you would need to be up all day, going at it every hour or so. A little ridiculous.

For the record, I haven't tested this, but I have heard a bit of talk about it throughout this site.

Edit: Thanks Bogs!

God, you're right. For some reason, I thought "Starving" was the hungriest they got. Apparently I need more sleep :p

I'll fix that.

I read it was an hour too, but it's more like 1:45 or something. I should test the specifics.

After you get to a certain point, it's significantly cheaper (and faster) to use neggs. If you need 8 codestones to raise your pet's [any stat], using one Armoured Negg would cost 24k, the codestones would cost anywhere from 20k to 64k.

Just be smart about how you spend your money and you'll be fine. A little bit of research first can save you a good deal of cash.

Only training defense is cheaper using neggs. Codestones is still cheaper for HP, level and what not.

I meant for me :p

If you average out the codestone prices its around 4.5k each atm so once you start requiring 6 codestones a course it would be just as cost efficient to use armoured neggs.

no shrine takes to long its to hit and miss also dont like having my bd pet as active pet for to long

You guys do realize you can do multiple things to raise your pet's stats, right? Like, you can be using the training school, feeding your pet neggs, visiting the shrine and doing kitchen quests (and the occasional faerie quests) all in one day...
