I'm curious as to what you would all define child porn.

There will be no images posted so I feel there should be no reason this topic is closed. This is srs bsns.

I'm under 18. If I view images of people under 18 who's naked, is that considered illegal?

Discuss.

On a serious note, minors aren't allowed to partake in anything sexual, even if it is with another minor. There was a case like this were two 13 year olds had sex, the parents found out, and now suing I believe. Or something like that. Let me find the article.....

In Australia it's legal to have sex at 16. Does that change anything?

It doesn't matter what anyone thinks child porn is, except for the law.

Also any image that exposes the sexy bits of a minor is CP.

And while it is normal for you to want to look at people your age, you're not allowed to see pornography at all so :p

That's what I was thinking.

When looking at porn normally at the bottom you'll see a disclaimer saying you must be 18+ if you live in the US. Is this some how related to the age of legal sex?

Same in the UK, but porno is entierly different. The explotation of children for seemingly sexul photos or film is just wrong period. 17 is boarderline, 16 and under and your a child, full stop,

Age of consent for sex is usually 16.

Age to view pornography is 18.

Go figure.

Usually, 95% of the time, 16 year olds and under haven't the perseverance nor common sense as an adult, they have different priorities and will judge situations differently, and consenting to a sexual act being recorded or whatever will stick with you for the rest of your life. Plus the fact most boys don't even get there puberty sorted till like 18/19 its just not right to have children in situations that they might perceive differently in 5 years

Naked little kids trying to be sexy and showing off their no-no's. /gag
Like, I don't think naked pics of you bathing in the sink when you were young would be considered child porn. (Is it? O_o)

Also the age of consent for New York is 17. Woo.
Unless you're part of the military.

Would you consider 5-10 year olds 'little kids'? Or are you talking about like 14 y/os posing infront of mirrors and stuff?

Unless you're part of the military.

What's the miltary have to do with it?

Maybe they all have baby faces or your local area has a bad gene pool. *shrug* here you can pretty much identify anyone who's 12 from those who are 16.

As far as I know it's only a crime in legal terms though if someone above 18 is saving sex with a minor.

In that case above I think that applies somewhat like an international standard, since there's really no country that "owns" the internet.

Tbh, 16 year old males on a whole look young, in my area, and areas i have been to (more than one country ill have you know young man ). Some more than others, but if the LAW was 16 + that applys to every 16 and over - not just the physicaly mature.

There's obviously exceptions to the rule, but as a whole 16 year old males aren't developed completely physically, and hormonally, which puts them in a position of exploitation sexually, and is obviously applicable to those under 16 also.

EDIT: me guessing the age of one teenage boy is completly pointless as we arent arguing about a specific person, but the law as a whole yes?

If i was to guess id say 15...lol

That doesn't sound right. If I go googling child porn I'm pretty sure I'm going to have some AFP knocking on my door "wanting to have a word with me".

China would be close though... right?

There's no need to be subtle. You've travelled & experienced many men (and I'm sure girls too). Congratulations! *clap clap* :)

So you feel that at 18-19 a boys body is developed to that of a mans?

Ok, that's a misconception.

The legal age of consent, is 16. However, it's illegal for someone over the age of 18 to have sex with someone UNDER the age of 18. It sounds weird. Despite the fact the sex is consentual, it is classed as statutory rape.

So, for example;
If I was 18
My girlfriend was 17

It would actually be illegal for me to have any form of sexual relationship with her until she turns 18. Despite the fact that when I was 17, I would have been banging the hell out of her.

This doesn't sound right.. My birthday is in October and I'll be turning 18. So if I go out and get a girlfriend who's already 18 (birthday earlier in the year) & fuck her she's liable to be charged? This sounds like easy $$.

Once again, an 18yo with a 17yo girlfriend gets some titty shots of her, can be busted for possesing child pornography.

... You better not be trollin' dude..
