I am preparing myself to compete in ICPC.
It is the international collegiate programming contest.
Anyone is currently competing or used to compete?

It is going to be my first time. Do you know any online programing competition so I can practice?

Thank you in advance.

We may see each other if you are going. I am in midwest region.

Nope, never even heard of it. :p I've never done any programming courses.

I am good at thinking of algorithm but my coding skill is horrible. I need to practice I/O, using library, memorizing what to include, etc.
I think it is going to be fun.

Hmmm, from the wiki:
"During contest, the teams are given 5 hours to solve between 8 and 12 programming problems (with 8 typical for regionals and 10 for finals). They must submit solutions as programs in C, C++, or Java. Programs are then run on test data. If a program fails to give a correct answer, the team is notified about that and they can submit another program."

That sounds interesting...maybe you can look up pass contests to see what problems were given.

I think they have Java, C and C++. I don't think scripting language is allowed. I still can't decide whether I should use C++ or Java.

Go with the one you're more familiar with, if you know more of the built in libraries of Java/C++, go with that one. The logic will be the same regardless of what you use.
