Hi,

I'm a super newb at this. Also, I apologize if the answer is somewhere here... I can't seem to find it.

I'm using a Mac OS X. I downloaded Abrosia and the Neocodex Python Runtime Files. I could log in with the username and pw from Neocodex, and then... nothing. Newbie me isn't sure what to do, and some pointers would be helpful. Thanks~

I don't know what you're referring to when you say "Ambrosia".
We have no program by that name.

The Mac version of Abrosia isn't working at the moment. It still needs an update. It shouldn't be too long before you can start AB'ing. Just be patient. :)

I just downloaded this today to try it out and when I open it up, the gray box has two fields for me to input my username and password for Neocodex but doesn't actually have any text. It also shows the Ready for Login button but that doesn't do anything.

I guess after all these months, it still doesn't work for Mac.

And?

it wouldn't work for me does not help at all.

There are at least 100 people at this exact moment using it without issue. Try explaining how it doesn't work. The issue is clearly on your end.

Well, I am able to open up the program, but as I explained before, all that shows is a gray box with two places to input your username and password, without any text telling which is which. Then there is a button at the bottom saying Ready For Login but when I click it, nothing happens...

Image can be found here of what I am talking about:

Yes, I did and I figured out what went wrong. Thanks for replying though. The program now works for me :)

What did go wrong? If you post that it might help any other people who have the same problem in the future. ;)

It was on my part. I put the app in my Applications folder but forgot to put the required files in the Library folder. Once I did that, it worked fine.

Glad it actually helped someone else out :) I didn't know until I found someone else's post on the forums saying they had put it in the Library, so I tried that and it worked :)

It's funny because Ambrosia is food, and Abrosia is a medical condition involving not eating. Heh.

I notice when I use a new IP address in FF, the speed of the net slows way down. Is that normal?
