#1357226 Contributing to NeoCodex

Posted by Hydrogen on 02 November 2010 - 04:46 PM

It seems like there is more demand to help make products for Neocodex than we have room for on our team. I'll think about this problem, but if you guys have any suggestions, that would be great. I guess one option is to open source our programs so that everyone can clone them and contribute. We've thought about this model before but have had our work stolen by other sites (Raui's score sender, for example). If there was some way to avoid this, it would be an option.

#1353272 Question about Abrosia

Posted by Hydrogen on 24 October 2010 - 02:43 PM

Come on guys, be nice. This question should have gone into the right topic, yes, but you can direct him there while answering the question too :p.

It just means Neopets thinks you're restocking too much and has banned you from doing it anymore so instead of wasting time waiting for the ban to be lifted, Abrosia has switched to doing something else that can make you NP: the igloo thing :p.

Not to be confused with 'making money selling this stuff to OTHER people who think it works', which corporate accountants and actuaries have zero problems with.

Best trivia I learned while working on this: 'Man, Farmville is so huge! Do you realize it's the second-biggest browser-based social-networking-centered farming game in the WORLD?' Then you wait for the listener to do a double-take.

I hate people that say that when I make that joke.

So let me get this straight, iargue. You make fun of someone's dad, only to find out that he has passed away. Then YOU get pissed off because your joke was ruined? What the shit?

Also, if you're going to go for 500 posts (which I encourage) know that if you are posting 40+ useless posts a day and have 500 posts within a month of joining that I hate you.

Not to mention that we'll probably just reset the post count for such a poster :p. It'll all be in vain if you spam. You'll just piss everyone off :p.
