Topics I've Started

30 Before 30

28 April 2012 - 07:00 AM

so i was doing some general surfing around the other day, and stumbled upon someone who had begun commenting and following my blog. amongst her bloggings, i found an interesting list entitled “30 Before 30″. this reminded me in a way of The Bucket List, except possibly more awesome.

now, i’ve already done some pretty interesting things in my life:

1. been in the US Army for roughly 6 1/2 years (still have about 2 1/2 years left on my contract) and during that time went to both Iraq and Afghanistan

2. i’ve been to both the east and the west coasts of the US

3. multiple times i have done surprisingly good deeds for total strangers (found a purse in a parking lot, found someone’s social security cards, helped stop a woman from being beaten by a dude)

4. been on national tv for a karaoke contest

5. held a few fundraisers for various causes

6. found the love of my life

but there are so many completely awesome things i have yet to do, and reading parts of her list made me start to think, that i too should have a list. i’ll be 28 this year, so in a way, i’m running out of time, but i won’t let that deter me!

so i've come up with what i think is a pretty sweet list, and was wondering if any of you had thought about doing something like this before

need some help for music software

28 April 2012 - 06:50 AM

so, i used to use Adobe Audition 2.0 for my music editing. i use Audacity sometimes but the quality for audition is superior. i can only find trials of audition 2.0 and 3.0 none with keys that work correctly. i was wondering if anyway had any ideas?

on a related note, i have audition 2.0 (trial) on my lappy now, but lost the original activation keygen i had for it. and i prefer that.

tl;dr

i need a reliable keygen for adobe audition 2.0

HCG diet

so i've heard a lot of people ranting and raving about this "new" product (actually been around since the '50s), and i'll be honest that i've been having issues with getting the last few (read as ten) pounds off... i eat well (other than drinking), and exercise almost daily.

normally i wouldn't give a second thought to this, but a former co-worker of mine used it and lost about 20-25lbs (and no, she wasn't fat, and had a nice body the last time i saw her), and then my gf's sister started using it, and lost around 8 or 9 lbs in a week.

so i was frustrated and decided to give it a shot. today is Day 1

anyway, what thoughts do any of you have on this?

(also, i will be blogging about my 30-day journey as much as i can here)
