this thread reminds me of this video i posted a long time ago. The video is in german but it has captions.

Also if you play dwarf fortress i recommend getting deon's genesis mod.  It makes the game a lot more fun imo, with extra monsters, civilizations, reactions etc. It also comes with tiles so you don't have to set that up yourself.

As far as I understand it, the prehaggle time is how fast you decide what item you want.  Considering the record for the brain to respond to visual stimuli is around 100 milliseconds (not making a decision, just beginning to process), pick a time around 250 millisecond to 750 for igloo/attic, while increasing the speed slightly for the latter.  Basically, it is the time it takes "you" to decide what item will create the greatest profit and attempt to buy it, for the igloo and attic, or be directed to the ORC page, at least as far as I know.

But the point is that the tooltip says the MS prehaggle value is not "logged". However there is a value being logged for the igloo and I am not sure what it indicates.  Either its the MS prehaggle time or something else.  If that number is the MS prehaggle time (and logic dictates that the displayed value is this since there is no OCR page delay in the igloo, and there are no indications elsewhere as to what the logged ms actually is) then the tooltip is misleading and I won't trust it blindly without some confirmation.

So the question still stands.  Does the MS value that is given in the logs for successful main shop buys, include the MS prehaggle time or not?  Or is it solely the OCR page delay +latency lag

Sure, but it's better to be absolutely certain so i don't get banned... due to potentially incorrect assumptions about how things work while messing with the settings.

For example if the MS prehaggle time isn't logged as per the tooltip then what exactly is being logged when you buy something at the igloo?  Seeing as there is no OCR page delay at the igloo..  Is that the prehaggle time before abrosia clicks on the item? or is that the time it took for the site to register that you bought something?  very confusing imo

That's why I'm trying to figure out whether or not the value that shows up on the log is just the total value of the latency delay + the OCR page delay setting, without the MS prehaggle delay factored in.
