If you equate "getting somewhere" in life with money, then I agree not having a diploma would make this difficult. However, life isn't about material things. It's about discovering yourself and what you enjoy. You don't need a diploma to do that.

I agree that most schools don't allow kids to truly learn. I've been having a rough time in school this year. Not with the grades, but with my mental state. I realized that most of what I'm doing in school is not intellectually challenging in the least. It's all copy this paste that. Busy work. Intelligence should not be equated with how much work a person is willing to do. It really bothers me.
