Topics I've Started

How often are people frozen from AB'ing the AAA?

08 May 2012 - 10:01 AM

I apologize if this has been asked before, I did a few searches that didn't entirely answer my question and most topics were quite old anyways :p

So I was thinking about how many factors come in to play when TNT is looking at people restocking in the main shops, page delay, haggling, the numbers you haggle with, etc ,etc, there's a whole bunch of measures and if you aren't careful with your settings you could end up getting banned.

No the Almost Abandoned Attic on the other hand is actually very basic, and still holds quite expensive items from time to time. I've been trying to restock in the AAA legitimately for months, and the speed at which the expensive items disappear at are inhuman (more than likely being AB'd) and when you think about it, there isn't half as much precaution and things to be careful about in there. Any person could use Sunny Neo's attic timer, get a nice refresh and get a super expensive item in much less than 1 second, and there's no real reason that I can see for TNT to be able to say "hey, that dude must be using an Auto Buyer". No haggle, just click and hit enter, and bam you have a nice item.

So the TL;DR version of this question is, if I'm using a really quick speed (0.3-0.6) and getting 5 decent items per day (minimum profit is around 40k) how likely am I to be frozen? I'm afraid that I might be missing something, but it seems so simple. Have you ever been banned from only AB'ing the attic?

Thanks in advance for your time guys.
