My friend said that. But stupidly, I carried on using it because I thought I'd got all the milk off the laptop before it had chance to do any damage... But I was wrong :/ it's already done damage. It's upside down on a tea towel at the minute, so I hope that will get most of it out. And I could probably replace the keyboard (hopefully).
If all else fails. It's my birthday next week. That's what I'll have to spend my money from my parents on... :/ what a was...

Yeah, you should never even turn it on if it's still wet. :/ If you put it in with some rice it'll dry out quicker.

It was already on lol. I was doing my coursework and my laptop was on the side, I out some milk in my cereal and it splashed out over the side. That's why I didn't bother, because there wasn't much and I tried to wipe it off. Carried on using it, and that's when everything started to go wrong...

Debbie the real answer to your question is that your buy times now are the same as they were before, it just isn't adding your general wait delay into the total anymore so it has the appearance of being faster.
