#2005347 Official Neocodex Ice Book

Posted by Keil on 16 April 2017 - 08:26 PM

@jaredyne I forgot to say it earlier, but thank you so much for being helpful for everyone during the Daily Dare. It must have been a hassle to BBCode format the prize images and post the AoB codes for each day. You really helped out a lot of people like me because seeing the thread updated each day with new informative posts makes me remember to actually play the game. I would have forgot a day and missed out on the best prize without you.

@Trapezeo Thank you for being you. You don't bore me and that's what counts in life.

@Coops You committed an atrocity against the human race with that peep counting contest and I love you for that.

@DonValentino You impressed me by updating your out of context contest recently and I know you have it in you to finally end it. I know I'm being severely passive aggressive to you more than usual, but that's because I care.

@Amethyst You irritate me on a fundamental level, but you legitimately make me rethink pressing the Doomsday button that Trump made his wife keep in the bedroom. Causing change in people is better than being goody-goody in a water cooler type of way.

@Dazz Thank you for coming back to Codex. I actually enjoy reading your experiences and opinions.

@WarezHaxor You make me smile and I always enjoy those pseudo intelligent conversations I force upon you. You have personality that I love being around and it makes me feel at ease someone else out there is capable of ruling the world when the impending pyretic apocalypse makes us fight for clean water.

That looks so ungodly.

Love it!

#2005024 Trophy Score Sender List Avatar Games

Posted by Keil on 12 April 2017 - 11:30 AM

I agree with Daviid. It would be preferable to never use a score list that uses exact scores since lurkers (let's be honest here, people get frozen from report-happy people than TNT doing their job) can control+F people's game scores and instantly report people who all have the same scores for 3 or more games of the same list.

But the times are really helpful and pretty good for the score it corresponds to. In general, it is always better to make your own list using other peoples' lists and the game's score/time trends as research material.

You're both lame.

This implies that you just need to beat Chadley's score for each day for gold, not necessarily on the day of.

Beat Chadley! Good night!

Proud of you.

Go you, Voodoo.

Hahahaha since I am playing this game legit, my perfectionist ways won't let me just run through the game, I have to have a perfect score for each stage. (flashback to Sonic the Hedgehog game days!) This is why no one would play video games with me. I could beat Abigail's score on first round, it's the second round I keep getting hit by those shooting plants or I misjudge my jumps. Ugh. I will do it though!

Your can do it. Overcome your neuroticism and there's nothing you can't do.

Brutes won.

Just according to keikaku*

(*Translator's note: keikaku means Brutes fucking won for once)

Another easy game, but what boggles my mind is the score gap between chadley and abigail. That gap is nonexistent between the level difficulty is the same in that score range basically Chadley's score should have been like at least 200 to give a daily feeling of satisfaction.

Math this. I would travel anywhere within a 10 mile radius.

#2003792 What are you procrastinating doing right now?

Posted by Keil on 24 March 2017 - 06:57 PM

How long can you procrastinate for? Leave it until the absolute last minute. I believe in you. What is it you have to do for Codex? Let me in the loop.

You can count on me! Emailing it for final review at 11:58 PM the day of, which is tonight.

You are in the loop before you knew were in the loop.

*x-files theme song plays followed by a psychedelic montage of post modern art*

The codex top secret thingy is due tomorrow at presumably 11:59PM whenever, but I have to unfortunately submit it earlier before the post office close at like 3PM. I need to insure that shit because I don't trust almost free government services.

Here is the list of future games according to the neopets reddit.

I confirmed the list by doing exactly what they did by changing the image link of the sticky notes's day number.

I have no words for the games up ahead.

#2003411 If you weren't already set on your life's path, what else would you be?

Posted by Keil on 20 March 2017 - 12:41 PM

I'm just curious.

If you weren't years into investing in a certain lifestyle (like motherhood, military, secret agent, etc.) or profession either by being in school for it or practicing, what other life path would you be pursuing at the moment?

I ask this because I've reached a point where I've done so much already and wonder about the what-if's in my life. Not that I regret where I am right now, but it may be cathartic to fantasize a different life that would have been.

If I wasn't already in the thing I was already doing, I would have been a writer for television. I idolize and fear Tina Fey and her comedic genius (and to a smaller extend, Amy Poehler) and wondered how fun it would be to be a writer in that industry in terms of being gratified and proud that what you have created has an audience and makes other people's lives better. Not to mention the different life I would be living like living from paycheck to paycheck while struggling to find the next gig. I understand that that vision is a big leap from where I am right now, but if I spent all my time building that dream, I may have ended up somewhere higher and in a place where I would have never dreamed of. I started thinking about this because my colleague forwarded me information about the Sesame Street Writer's Room fellowship and although it doesn't fit my schedule, I can't help but think: what if?

What would you be now if you didn't already choose your life's path?

#2003160 Daily Dare Coming Soon

Posted by Keil on 16 March 2017 - 06:40 PM

Hell yeah. I'm going to go all out and do my best for this copy and paste children's flash game event.

If there isn't any scores that's too difficult, I'm probably going to go legit the entire way. I've been legit for both the DD and GMC for three years straight and got the highest level trophies/prizes.
