Yeah, we already know about the variation but we haven't fully confirmed how that part works yet or if it can be put into a working predictive algorithm.

Can't we just let the program refresh for 1 minute at every 7 minute intervals to account for the variation? The variation never seems to be more than 30 seconds, but we could do a minute just to be safe.

There's a 7 minute interval but every few hours the minute increases by 1 and then carries on the 7 minute interval so it can go like this:

12:42

12:49

12:56

13:04

13:11

13:18

That's where the 0-60 second variation comes in, I'll PM you an example :)

That's not quite the whole story.

Would you like to PM additional details? I don't know exactly where I am going wrong, pattern seems to fit so far...

After analyzing 3 days worth of data, a restock potential every 7 mins with 0-60 seconds variation seems to be correct. Even the RS Chat boards on the Neoboards confirm this. I don't know why you got contradictory data, maybe your data wasn't collected accurately.

It's not as simple as that unfortunately. Try analysing the data over an entire day and look for patterns there.

I think I'll be releasing the data that I (with the help of many others) collected over the space of a week, to see if anyone could help figure it out.

I've only analyzed 12 hours of data and it seems to hold up pretty well so far. 24+++ hours would be ideal. I'll keep collecting and analyzing data and get back to you. If you could release your data, that would be lovely :D
