I think he means that since we are forced to use basic settings, competing in high-competition stores for profitable items is not beneficial to us as we lose out to those who have lower OCR & buy times.

The automatic shop selection is weighted so it has a better chance to choose the shops with the most profitable items, it doesn't just pick any shop at random.

Yeah I've noticed that it almost never throws me in a fish in the water shop.

This wheel is NOT worth it unless you have a pet that can cost you over 100k to get a +5 and +10 to stats. Otherwise, you can only break even or very little profit (100,001, nerkmids). Or win a very rare prize (paintbrushes, avatar, background, stamp). Whereas you can lose (everything, 75k, 50k, etc)
