#1856811 Indiana pizzeria raises $500,000 after saying it wouldn't cater a ga...

It's their choice to serve a customer or not. They make less profit by not serving them, so there will be plenty of other restaurants that will be happy to serve any customer. To have a fit because they stand behind their beliefs is ridiculous, that would be like them giving bad ratings to a restaurant for catering the gay wedding.

That's not a fair comparison. I don't know any religion that discriminates against blacks so it's out of hate to not serve them rather than a religious thing. On top of that blacks have no choice to be black while gays are perfectly able to choice not to be  in a relationship with another person of the same gender.

I'm not saying it's a good thing that they didn't serve the gays, but it is their choice to not serve them.

You don't know a religion that discriminates against blacks NOW - but this is just history repeating itself.
Racism used to being directly linked with religion in this country. The KKK still represents themselves as a true Christian organization.

And gays have a choice to be gay? I wish you could have said that first so then I could have just ignored everything else you have to say.

#1852142 If Neo goes down, Neocodex goes down with it

Can we just raise about $420k through crowd funding and buy it?

Come on guys...

I know a lot of people are acting like they won't care if Neopets shuts down...

I am just saying, if it legit just up and disappears, like the site is gone, my pets are gone....

I come on one day and the domain is something else or there is a 404 error...

I will cry.

Like straight up, ugly red face sob...

Growing up without any kind of stability in my life in a broken home, I didn't have a lot of friends.
I used to chat (against the rules) on the yahoo games chat and someone from New Zealand, who went by Raven sent me a referral link.
I clung on to this site when I was 11 years old. Every time I could internet anywhere, I was online on Neopets.

It was my escape through a lot of really bad times. I could come on there and be funny and rich and have friends.

I played consistently all the way into high school...
When I cracked my spine in a few later, I came back and it always has been my escape...

It is more symbolic to me now than it is about the actual game.

I have had my same pet for 13 years... I haven't had anything in my life that long.

This might be super pathetic being as I am a grown ass woman, and a cop...

Reading about the lay offs, seeing the sellout, the lag, the glitches...

It really is upsetting to me. It's my vent - it is my don't throat punch people because life isn't that serious escape...

Thanks for reading my whiny post...

I think I should get the melodramatic award. Can someone make it?

:p

But really, all humor aside, I will mourn the site if it closes down.

For the record, I came here for Neopets nearly five years ago.

I only play Neopets, I have no time for other frivolous games that are not virtual pets.

I pay for the site for Neopets related things and only Neopets related things. I don't talk to strangers.

I don't read forums not related to my Neopets' NEEDS, not wants, NEEDS.

In the event that Neopets shuts down, I quit the internet.

I am going to Jumpstarts headquarters in WhereEver land and protesting and I encourage you all to join me.

*tries to be the most melodramatic*

And honestly, I think maybe I have AB'd like 10 things in the last year - it really doesn't work for me. I don't have the time or energy to figure all of the proxies and junk out - I don't even know why I pay for this site...

I just do... You're welcome.

We shall see.

#1850348 Neo's Candy Crush

Posted by ausername on 27 February 2015 - 11:44 AM

So, in the event this links to our Neo accounts, or something like Treasure Keeps where you get bonus codes, then I am excited.

Also, if there is no cap to how much NP you can make, like Habi, then I am excited.

If you get rare items like stamps, or collectables, or wearables, then I am excited.

If this is a feeler to see how well mobile aspects of the site are accepted, I am still excited.

I don't really see why everyone is complained about something new being released simply because isn't what they want it to be.
Even though it might not be what you want, that doesn't mean it won't be fun, or perhaps a stepping stone for Jumpstart to see where the user base is at...

I think if they release this and see overwhelming support, they may realize the site isn't dead, and we are still out here in large numbers...

There is a cash option on the app, for purchases of power ups and such - I think that aspect of it will be interesting to see - like how valuable the items are you get from playing if you are spending real money on it.

No complaints here. :)

#1848909 Oklahoma says screw AP U.S. History

Posted by ausername on 20 February 2015 - 02:57 AM

I'm from Oklahoma. I don't support this legislation or these people. It's absurd.

I don't understand who votes for them.
I'm out campaigning and I don't see the support, then on election day - there they are.

Check out the LGBT and marriage legislation moving through the ranks in Oklahoma right now. It will make you sick.

Wake up, it's 2015!

#1848585 Does anyone remember me?

Posted by ausername on 18 February 2015 - 12:49 AM

I am back. I had about 3 months of every day activity - then I bought a house, got a promotion, and drifted.

26. Live in Oklahoma. Responsible adult.

That's about it.

I feel like a stranger...

And what's up with this lag? Geeze.

#1707629 Does size matter?

Posted by ausername on 31 December 2013 - 07:19 AM

It matters. . . for a variety of reasons.

You can usually tell the size by how good they are with foreplay...

If he is wanting foreplay for hours, you might as well just get the dildo out because there isn't anything going on down there.
