You guys know any good acoustic songs/bands? I'm thinking about learning acoustic guitar (by teaching myself), but I really want to hear some good acoustic songs. I've been listening to some of Oasis' acoustic songs (Wonderwall) and I really like them.

No country, please.

Okay, I don't really want to ask for help about this, but I think it's what I need to do.

I'm sorry in advance if this topic turns out to be a wall of text. I have a lot on my mind right now and I need to talk about it. I'm also sorry if it gets confusing. But please, read this.

Okay, so basically I've liked this girl since 8th grade (I'm in 11th grade now). We've always been really good friends and stuff and I can tell her literally anything...anything. Anyways, we've always kind of had a 'thing'. Like whenever we're together we'll flirt and I guess it's pretty obvious, or so my friends tell me. The only problem is that she always has some other guy that she's thinking about. Like whenever I'm talking to her online or even with her in real life, you can tell she's texting or talking to some other guy that she likes, and it gets really annoying. This is the reason I always thought she didn't 'like like' me.

So then, a few nights ago a girl from my school had an end of the summer party. So I get a text the night before the party from this girl asking if I could give her a ride to the party, so I asked my friend who was driving me there and he said that he could. So the next day we go pick her up, she's looking really good and blah blah and we just kind of start talking. And of course, the first thing she brings up is if I have a girlfriend and stuff like that. I tell her no, and then she tells me that she likes this guy (who we're also picking up to go to the party with) and that they've liked each other since the beginning of summer and how she hopes something happens with them at the party (as in he asks her out).

So thennnn, we went to the party and had some fun (no, I didn't drink :] Go me. No, actually I couldn't because I forgot to bring my money haha). And the whole time we were there, she was like all over him. Not like making out with him or anything like that, but she would always be around him whenever she could and it was really starting to bother me and I think everyone could tell because they kept asking me why I was so quiet all of a sudden and stuff.

Annnyyways that night me and 3 other guys stayed the night at a friends house and the guy that likes this girl was there. They were texting each other all night and talking to each other over the phone until around 3 a.m. (she called him at 3 a.m., wasted, asking him if he was dead...don't ask) and it was starting to piss me the fuck off. But anyways that's only half of the story.

The next morning we all had to go back over to the girl that had the party's house and clean up all of the beer...yes, even though I didn't drink I had to help. And then we had to take them all home blah blah blah, nothing exciting happens here, except my friends hits someones mailbox with his car.

Okay, then the NEXT night (last night), this girl was on Facebook. I decided to talk to her and see how she was. So basically the conversation starts off with her asking me if the guy she likes said anything about her because she was worried that he really didn't liked her. And I said, "no, but it's pretty easy to tell that he likes you as much as you like him". And then, all of a sudden she says, "have you ever liked me within the past year?"
And of course, I was honest and said yes. And then she starts saying, well I've liked you too, actually I still do. And I pretty much start fucking screaming because this was a total shock to me.

Then for the next two hours we start talking and really start to get into it. But basically, we feel the exact same way about each other. Like LITERALLY, exactly the same way. We've both liked each other for 3 years, through how much we've both changed and that she still likes me. Now seriously, this is going to sound weird, but I seriously wanted to cry. I don't know what got into me, but I was just beyond happy.

So then I had to explain why I never came on to her like I liked her, I just told her that it always seemed like she had some other guy on her mind, and she said pretty much the same thing about me. And by now, I feel like the BIGGEST asshole in the world. I should've told her all of this BEFORE she got so involved with this other guy (they aren't going out YET, but I don't know what's going to happen).

Okay, so here is where I need your guys help.
What do I do? I haven't talked to her since last night, so I don't really know how shes feels about the other guy. So basically I don't know who she likes more, who she wants to be with or anything.

Should I ask her if she's going to try and stay with the other guy? Or do I just let it play out? I REALLY don't want to seem desperate.

God I'm so confused right now. I want to just call her and talk to her about it, but I think I should wait.

Sorry for the big thread, but please give me some advice.

Some extra little notes:
- She told me that from now on, we tell each other EVERYTHING, no matter if it's good or bad.
- I haven't talked to her since last night, so I don't know if her feelings have changed, or if she still really likes the other guy.
- I haven't had a girlfriend in two years because I'm SO hooked up on this girl. Seriously.
- I feel liked a huge nerd for posting this here.
