My cousin got her game (bundled with the AC 3DS) on Monday so we've been playing together since then.

Happy Fathers' Day! I had dinner with my dad but other than that... nothing eventful.

I checked out the clothing store and bought some jeans and a bow. I caught a few new fish today, including a whale shark and a sunfish. I planted a bunch of tropical fruit trees from fruits I gathered in the island tours. I was also given some apples and a watering can...

Yesterday the store only had a shovel and a fishing rod again. There was a notice on the bulletin board that there would be a bug competition so I was nervous that I wouldn't have a net. Second day playing New Leaf! I already have my second house payment done, but the third of 98k bells will take a few days. So far the shop has only sold shovels and fishing poles so all I've been doing is fishing. I can't seem to catch a damn shark, though. Came across 4 of them and they all got away.
