A chorus of ordinary-sounding voices are singing  = Stomp your feet emphatically
 
Voices emanate from behind the door.   = Throw the door open boisterously
 
Behind the door, you can easily hear an argument. =Take sides in the argument
 
An unearthly moan ripples through the door     = Knock on the door politely
 
A faint whisper rustles behind the door        =Burst through the door violently 
 
Behind this door you hear loud chanting      = hum
 
All you hear past the door is silence      =Knock on the door politely
 
The door is glowing                =  Slip in all quiet and sneaky-like
 
Behind the door, elaborate organ music resonates  = Stomp your feet emphatically
 
Those were new shoes, too    = put in gloves
 
High, wordless screaming echoes through the door   = Burst through the door violently 
 
You hear a skittering sound   = ?
 
Huge snores can be heard behind this door    = Slip in all quiet and sneaky-like
