My thanks again, Strategist! I've been concentrating my searches on proxies, trying to understand and use them. So far, the top sites listed here, my virus scanner won't open. I use Trend and have for years. Rarely has my system(s) been infected, so I'm definitely staying with them, but that also means that if Trend says, don't continue to the page, then I don't.

Great guide! I've been working in CS4 for the past few years; all self-taught, and any new tutorials on the program are bookmarked, studied, and appreciated!

ABP has a tab under filter preferences that allows some non-intrusive ads. There is a link to show what ads won't be blocked. I use ABP and love it. You have to make sure that the box for allowing the ads is checked; otherwise it will block. I also use EasyList as a filter, and just a few element blocking rules, like for the mamabar.
