About 4 years ago, when the ghostkersword was in the ht, I figured out how to dupe using the sdb (it was a random way, but you just pressed enter a lot and put a lot of random numbers in to remove items--kind of hard to explain) and i ended up duping nearly 100 gswords. i gave a bunch out around the bdc to people that were rude or that i didn't like. i was obviously caught very soon and i still had 50 gswords i was going to give away when i was frozen. the way i got to that was i made 60k or so, duped as many lab maps as i could, sold, repeat, until i had the i think 14m to buy a gsword. then i got another one (you needed 2 to make it work) and then duped those. this was the second huge dupe incident (the one after newcastle).
(btw for anyone interested it took about 2 hours to dupe the 100 items. mainly because you could one dupe one at a time and half of the time it wouldnt work because of the way it was time sensitive. as well, theres a glitch on the site RIGHT NOW, still, that kind of uses the same technique that i found. it's for a big game/feature of the site, but the payout isn't that big (np wise), which is why i havent abused it too much. i used it and pwned the game last year and was frozen for using a 'bot' (wtf?) and thats only because it accidentally became very public that my score was impossible and a shitload of people reported me. the glitch still works. )
