Noob question, and sorry if it's obvious, but does the Suite automatically log you out of your account when you close it down?

I really hope actual books don't go anywhere any time soon. I love them!
However, eBooks are nice to have on the go, for instance on a plane, long wait at an appointment, or my favorite, pool side
