I was going to say the same thing - unfortunately you need to spend money on Neopets. Other than this - I go for the Pango Palladium. I seems to get lots of lodestones from it. 

I think I spent about 800k or more trying to get the avatar at one point. I then tried a year later and got it after about 5k - it was a very mean avatar. 

I'm waiting impatiently for that avatar to be miiiine! Considering it is "random" it will tai a year or more for me to get it. D:

I would assume the rollback would have happened a week ago if anything were to be done. The only semi logical thing for them to do is get rid of as many of the dupes as possible and freeze a crap ton of people.
