Baby showers seem like a lot of fun! It's not really a thing here where I live, which is a shame.

I'm glad you and the baby are doing well :)

I donate +-30 cm of hair every 2 years and keep it in a bun the rest of the time. It's natural red, so they're very happy with it :)

#1998712 BEST RS Shop to Stock?

Posted by Rainforce on 26 December 2016 - 08:13 AM

I find that Kauvara's is now HTS if you don't have a reliable RSer to load it off to. I've gotten some good color/species combos like wraiths, maraquans, that I end up accepting on the first person who offered anything.

I have no trouble with that shop, all my potions sell within a day without a RSer, I do sell them for very cheap though :p

#1973388 Pro-Life or Pro-Choice?

Posted by Rainforce on 02 June 2016 - 04:16 AM

Ah ok, that would make a bit more sense. But if we are given free will, would it then be ok to not accept the child? Coz it means that God trusts us enough and wants us to lead our lives in what we believe to be the best way?

Not looking to start a fight so please dont torch me. Legitemately curious now...

We can do whatever we want, but it might not be the right choice. God has given the people the Bible as the best guide for life. You can follow it or not, sin or not. Abortion is a sin according to the Bible. Just because we have free will doesn't make it right to sin, it's still wrong. We should try to stop sinning. However, not sinning at all is impossible. Everyone sins everyday, but as long as men repents for their sin it's forgiven.

#1972421 Pro-Life or Pro-Choice?

Posted by Rainforce on 01 June 2016 - 08:36 AM

Pro-choice. I feel that a child born to parents who do not want them, or into a loveless world is the worst existence you can face (especially since how much childhood can impact on your life). Also, from a religious point of view, if God does want a child to be born into the world, surely no medical intervention will stop that? Because if religious people believe that abortion is going against the will of God, aren't they simply suggesting that man is so "powerful" they can override God's wishes?

Just a thought, and my two cents on the issue

Man has been given free will by God, so they can choose themselves if they accept the child or not.

#1946784 Should College be Free?

Posted by Rainforce on 25 February 2016 - 01:29 AM

Yes, college should definitely be free. Not only because it's financially beneficial, but also because it will have to be state run. I've seen the privatisation of universities happen here in the Netherlands (along with many other public services). I don't know what idiot thought that was a good idea. Education went down the drain. When it was state run, universities worked on their grade average, trying to deliver top class students each year. Since universities became companies, we suddenly saw a magical increase of graduates each year. Fun fact: universities get money for each graduate they produce. Students became numbers.

Making colleges free makes them staterun and changes their goal, further ensuring the quality of education.

I agree. I'm also from the Netherlands and education should be state run again. The quality of education is only going down at the moment. I hate being only a number. They don't care about you as long as you graduate so the universities can get their money.
