I don't believe global warming was man made, I have trouble grasping that we even had the tiniest effect on our climate. I suppose this kind of thing could just be hard for me to understand though; in which case, Oh Well:

So maybe A few subspecies of fish will die out, hell, maybe frogs will disappear completely.... but has anyone considered that an ecosystem will stay intact without A few fish, or even all the frogs? If they're going to go extinct that easily, there's a good chance they don't play a vital role in their ecosystem, or in the case of the frogs, something will adapt to fill it's place - there's a good chance the frogs will adapt themselves. In any case, something as gradual as global warming has little chance of damaging an ecosystem beyond repair.

Global Warming probably is the main threat to endangered species, but if you're playing the sympathy card... why endangered species? Are there not much more powerful threats to species that aren't endangered... not threats of extinction, but animal lives. There is a HUGE amount of animals that die from man-made causes, but as long as we keep the species alive, it's ok to keep killing them? ... I'm personally fine with killing animals, I don't argue that it's a cruel and terrible thing to do, but it's natural, as a species Humans protect eachother before other species, and we eat other animals to survive - well, we're killing them, why not kill a few more and enjoy 3 meals a day? =P ... but the point to all that is, why are we fighting Global Warming inparticular? There's a dozen man-made threats, easily stoppable man-made threats, that are killing animals and destroying ecosystems right now.... fight those, and when we're absolutely sure about global warming, we'll stop gradually.


I'm too tired to end my arguments, but the concept is that you shouldn't worry yourself about global warming... trash the SUV for a Station Wagon, Recycle the Hummer for an Electric Sports Car... there are more reasons to do it than Global Warming

1. Uhhh, sorta, but I previously used my desktop for torrents, which is on a very faulty wireless... meaning I had to sit there babysitting the connection, clicking 'repair' every 10 minutes... and was far too frustrated to seed, I've moved my computer into a room where I can get a solid connection, and now I seed as much as possible, to make up for lost time I suppose

On Top of that my ISP was slowing the download rate... and when I re-installed Utorrent I discovered there was an 'encode' option... I now see the benefit of Cable =D

2. Utorrent, never tried anything else, it works fine for moi
