Today was the easiest day by far since I've quit. Getting all that 'gotta keep busy, gotta stay focused' yesterday helped tremendously.

Thanks for the support I've been receiving... I know I can be an annoying twat sometimes thanks for bearing with me.

I had a piece of gum earlier just to curb my cravings, I ate less today, and was much calmer than normal. I don't reek of smoke anymore which is kinda weird. I guess I'm just used to the smell.

When I was out and about earlier there was a guy smoking and I thought I'd break and ask to bum a smoke from him but I didn't. It was hard to resist that simple temptation but as I got closer to him (he was standing between me and the door to go in) I found that I didn't need a cigarette as badly as I'd thought and I walked around him.

So... it's been progress. I feel happier now. Today was an easier day but it was still rough at times.

I felt like crying at one point I was craving a smoke so bad. I need to find something to hold, maybe a crayon?

Well...

I'm having a much harder time today keeping myself distracted. I did make it through the entire day without a piece of gum nor a patch. I got a ton of work done and broke 100 posts on here for the first time ever.

I'm still having trouble sleeping, I'm still not eating enough to compensate for not smoking... I expect I'll start eating more in a day or two. I've found that I need to be keeping busy and if I'm not doing that I feel like I'm quite literally crawling out of my skin.

So... today I only had one piece of gum. I was a dick all day and everyone was saying I was being mean.

I want a cigarette so bad. I can smell and taste them as though I just smoked one. That's how badly I'm craving one.

My taste is starting to improve which is cool. I had a pretty strong sense of taste before so hopefully it will only get better from here and I'll be able to taste more subtle flavors in food.

I'm still having trouble sleeping, it takes hours to fall asleep. Oh well. It'll level out soon I hope.

Well... today was a lot harder. I found myself craving a cigarette just about non-stop. I am feeling bitter and aggressive. This sucks.

Something new... I'm sweating profusely. Not so bad when I chew the gum with the patch on but this is still really annoying. I'm hoping a nice long shower will help out.

So yesterday I got down to two cigarettes and made the decision to not get more.

I have patches and I have gum. I've been chewing a piece even whenever I get the urge to smoke overwhelmingly. The nicotine in the gum makes me kinda sick to my stomach, I fold it over and bite down a little instead of actually chewing it like normal gum.

I feel like I'm crawling out of my skin.

Today marks the first full 24 hours without a cigarette. This is hard.
