Sorry about that guys -- I upgraded the software on our server, and it turns out that we needed to restart our webserver since it was now using a out of date configuration. It took me a while to figure out that that is what was wrong. Everything should be working now :).

If I closed a bank account years ago but still have some checkbooks lying around from that account, do I need to do anything special to destroy the checkbooks? I've been sitting here removing the account numbers from each check for the past 10 minutes. Is this even necessary?

Yeah, as said before, don't worry about it as if the bank account does not exist it cannot clear. But if you want to be on the safeside, just burn it or grind up the book :)

I picked up the wrong cheque book once, wrote a cheque on it, and then had to go to court. Obviously, that was long ago.

As it turns out, I am able to process credit cards with the Square card reader app. First time I tried that thing and it is pretty cool! We're going to support credit cards on the site directly in some time.

The new subscription system should be good to go for new orders. If you have any problems, please let me know :). The data from the old system still needs to be transitioned over, but your advanced membership status will not be affected by that data transfer. Enjoy using advanced membership (even if it has expired) until we get things fully working :).

The IPB iPhone app is a steaming pile of shit. If they are going to charge money for it, they should at least make sure it is worth what they are charging. They just put their mobile skin into an app. It's practically no different than what you would get if you visited with your browser on the iPhone.
