But I love me my laptops :P so far laptops have always been fine. Also I don't have an awful lot of space to work with here :P I know desktops are better over all.

Get a desktop for the processing and a decent laptop for everything else. :P Together they would likely cost less than a laptop which is designed for graphics processing.

I would set up a renderfarm but I dont have the patience :P I wanna buy a new laptop anyway, I need some more power for some serious sculpting.

Normally my process is modelling, animating, rendering low res, further animating, rendering high res (1280*720 for now) I intend on making a short with him when I get the time :)
