Years ago I got a security clearance to do a little project at JPL. The nice FBI agent showed up to ask me about a "known associate" from 10 years back that was a Communist. Dang I loved that guy, he went door to door in Houston Texas attempting to get signatures to put the Communist candidate on the ballot. That, was one crazy man. I've only bought a pet once, but I sent payment from account A to account B. Then the pet was transferred from account C to account D. All accounts unlinked. Otherwise, if it's payment in Other, you could always send a neomail application and pretend you're adopting it.

I did it through safe transfers, but I'm fairly risk averse. Depends on how confident you feel about your pound sniping skills.
