So Surprise, town just north of luke afb, has an alright bar scene, not as big as Phoenix or Scottsdale but thats to be expected. I still havent worked with my manager who lives out there, but ill let you know more whenever I can.

For someone who has never played an instrument, and has no idea how to read music, and wants to play guitar. Where do I start? I want to buy an electric guitar starter kit from amazon, thoughts?

Reading music helps, learning a bit of theory helps, learning the notes on the guitar help but what comes in handy is a program called Guitar Pro and Scales. Scales aren't the funnest thing ever but it helps with dexterity and distinguishing notes. There's a lot of sloppy players and there don't need to be anymore.
