So, I looked at my financial award for next year, and there is a random "financial aid grant" of $2,000. It's not federal and I haven't applied for anything. Just a random 2k that has already been accepted on my behalf by the university. wtf.

I hope not. In general, I distrust people and tend to be suspicious of everything. I wonder though if it was awarded through the university and they felt I was worth keeping around?

No worries, tons of grants are non-federal. They are endowments given to the school for specified use (ie. poor students, women in engineering, people of italian heritage or whatever). Hopefully you will get it every year! Congrats!

@Coops I already saw spoilers (I personally adore spoilers since to me its not the same as the experience)
@Aria - To me it's a lot too. I didn't spend anything for 2 weeks to get it.
Um it's a slow paced game. Like real slow. Mundane sort of farming tasks, but still gives the feeling of accomplishing something. I wouldn't of bought it if I didnt see episodes on youtube. Watch for sure before you decide to buy it. (My #1 saving money gaming tip XD)

I'm taking a class this term on it. I wasn't sure what to expect but found I really enjoy it. My professor has his Ph.D in I/O and is doing active research in the I/O community, with gaming and using games to train people. It's very engaging and actually challenging. I rarely feel challenged by college. So, that's a plus.
