If one were to..aquire...a set of NC collectable items, then put them in a an album, would you still get the bonus, even if you didn't purchase them from the NC mall?

no you don't you just have to have purchased all of the monthly items on that one account for you to qualify for the bonus. You do not need to put them into the collectors album.
