Fifth day in a row the goddamn electric company has shut off our air for their new "Energy Saving" initiative. Why the hell did they think it was most appropriate to do this during the one heat wave we'll see all year, rather than spreading it out evenly across the rest of the year?!

Yes, but "fuck my electric company" is so much more concise than "fuck the infrastructure and all those that support it and came before it that led it to be such an abysmal disappointment."

Grid inter-connectivity is a real problem in Southern Cal, you have very few excess MWatts that are available outside of your local generation area, and everything in Arizona/New Mexico is spoken for. They could build new natural gas peakers, to run the dozen hours needed for grid stabilization, but they'd need some serious Clean Air Act permit because you're in a severe nonattainment area, and the cost would be huge for the construction. Better demand storage, but you have almost n...

no opportunity for hydrostorage. Also, California has done some fossil fuel/Green House Gas commitments, and that limits your choices. Have you thought of a personal solar unit?

Can someone please explain to my cat that I need my keyboard for typing more than he needs it for a bed?
Aug 13 2012 09:24 AM

Your cat does not want the keyboard for a bed, you cat want you to use your finger to scratch him/her, instead of playing with that dang keyboard.
The only way, is to scratch kitty's head instead of typing.

I have the only one of a certain rare stamp on the market. Should I price-gouge the people who're Neomailing me about it? For how much, if our database says it normally goes for right about 100k?

500k -- is it reasonable to believe anyone would go for that? Maybe those who are on a spending binge and don't care to look elsewhere for the price if it's the only one on the market?

Strategist
Its a stamp, theyre relatively ETS so yes, 500K would be quite feasible.

If you got it from bestproxyandvpn, they have a 48-hour refund policy I think!

I could resell it or keep it, but I may refund it, if it's possible. Thanks again! :D

Blargh. Boyfriend keeps yapping at me about VPNs being safer. But then I can't mess around with my main while ABing. ><

BestProxyAndVPN: $12.97 for 3 or $3.72 for 1. Wouldn't it be smarter to buy 1 three times, or am I missing something?

that's expensive. Go for HMA. But if you really want private proxy, try myprivateproxy.net, it's fast and 5digit port
