And she is younger, but only by a year, and we're both adults. I'm struggling with the fact that she should technically be allowed to befriend whom she wishes.

Oh, no -- the main reason is that he doesn't have a job and can't pay rent. My boyfriend halved his rent for October and half of November just to be nice and give him time to find another place. I'm just excited that I'll be able to keep the house clean and pleasant-smelling again.

My phone has quietly rattled itself into the grave. Now to decide whether to live without a phone until the one I want comes out (HTC One X+) or to throw money at a used phone I'm not that excited about just to have a working phone again.

It will.
Once you bid, the NPs are placed on hold. They can't touch them unless their bid is beat xD
