How come the AB program lets you get more items than you have inventory space?

I left it on a shell account and it let me get 20 above the inventory limit.

What coltom said is right. Shops only have space for 48 unique items. More empty spaces means more of a chance for a rare to stock

Was it a good idea to restart making a BD pet with a new pet? The one I was training was at the 3 codestone range and still had 60 str and 20's
