I've recently read La Vida Es Sueno/Life Is A Dream, by Pedro Calderon de la Barca. It's a 16th century (I think) Spanish play - a very good one too - and I had the dual language English-Spanish version, which means not a lot is lost in translation, especially it's poetic form. :)

"The Great and Secret SHow" (Clive Barker)...okay, this was my third reading of it, but I adore it so!

Today seems like a nice day to just lay around, listen to the rain, and watch Netflix.

No better way to celebrate the fourth of July than a fire in my apartment -_-

No, my dumbass roommate forgot that she left a pizza box in the oven a couple of days ago (probably to keep leftovers warm but why not use a plate and a microwave w/e) and went to preheat the oven last night and started a fire. Oven's probably ruined.

Thanks guys! It was a good day. I only worked 7 hours but I'm just tired because I woke up at 7 and didn't get much sleep the night before. As a student worker, I'm only allowed to work 36 hrs a week but it's 8 dollars an hour so not bad at all.
